Do I Need to Visualize to Manifest my Desires?

You've heard me talk in previous articles about Deliberate attraction. The Law of Attraction is a powerful force that is operating in every moment, including this moment right now. Knowing that we all offer a vibration (vibe) in every moment, and that The Law of Attraction matches that vibration and brings us more of the same vibration (whether wanted, or unwanted), it is important for us to understand the significance of becoming deliberate about what it is that we are vibrationally offering. The more we learn to apply The Law of Attraction to our lives and tap int. . .
The Problem With Affirmations
Do you know the problem with affirmations? You know, the really, really powerful ones?Affirmations are great. They allow us to program our minds such that, realistically, anything is possible. They are also, however, very dangerous. They are dangerous because everyone does them. Everyone does them and they don't even know it. And that's what proves their power.Every single day people affirm their actions. Every day the affirmations become reality. These affirmations are generally known as self fulfilling prophecies.Mary has to attend a party. She is shy and constantly tells herself that no one will like her and that she is worthless, a mere speck in relation to the fun and fantastic heavy weights that will be there. What happens at the party? Mary's talked herself into being a boring wa. . .
There Must Be More To Life Than This
If you suffer from a nagging feeling of "there must be more to life than this", you're not alone."There must be more to life than this" can be an extremely de-motivating force. Guess where this feeling usually comes from? Your Job. Why? Most people hate their jobs. The first point that needs to be addressed is that it's okay to hate your job. It's normal! The amount of people who like their jobs are few and far between. Most that enjoy the daily grind are either very lucky or have been in their current job less than six months.Secondly, changing your job is not a solution to "there must be more to life than this" or to your lack of motivation. Remember the old saying "The grass is always greener"? Changing jobs is only a short term solution. Work place politics soon catch up with you.Pos. . .

What is your process of Discovery?
When Julie looks through the lens of her camera she is interested in what is in focus and what is out of focus. Sometimes what is in focus is so boring, it’s the out of focus which interests her. The question that occupies her mind is: how do I bring that which is out of focus in focus? The solution, for Julie, the photographer, is in thinking differently. In thinking what if I use this lens. Will the different lens bring what is out of focus in focus? What if I approach the subject from this angle? What if I slow the speed? Each time she uses her knowledge of photography and her camera to build on what is possible. To look outside her box.Sukekawa is also interested in what is out of focus. She is one of Japan’s most successful inventors. But it hasn’t always been like that. In fact, s. . .
How To Shorten The Selling Cycle And Reduce Buying Stalls
Copyright 2005 Doug StaneartThe main reason for buyer resistance and selling stalls boils down to one simple fact: the reasons for not buying are bigger to the prospect than the reason to buy.If you sell an intangible product or service, it may be even tougher to close down a sale because your product or service is not something people can see, touch, or feel. So the reasons for your prospects to buy have to be vivid, logical, and emotional. There has to be a reason for them to buy NOW, or they’ll put off making the decision until later. When you sit down with a prospect, ask a lot of questions about the prospect related to your product or service to get the person to tell you what is important in his/her life. If you are selling a tangible product, you might ask questions like the follo. . .
Four Steps to Confident Coaching
Four Steps to Confident CoachingBody of ArticleHave you ever felt unsure of yourself as a coach? Scared that you might not have an answer for someone? Worried you’ll give the wrong advice? Concerned they’ll think you’re a fraud? The biggest difference I seem to make with the new coaches I mentor is in the area of confidence. Sure I help them with designing their unique coaching session, marketing and business set up. But their main block is often lack of confidence. The Awesome, Unstoppable Power Of PersistenceNever underestimate the power of persistence! If you persist you really cannot fail. While you may fail many times along the way, you have nottruly failed until you accept failure. However, if you aretruly persistent, failure is a clear indication you aregetting closer to success. How can that be?Because with each failure comes very valuable knowledge. Theknowledge of what DOESN'T work, (this is the basic premiseof testing).Acknowledge failure brings you a step closer to success andyou will never look at it the same way again.Do you have a light in your house? Of course you do. Do havea light in your car? Of course you do. Do you see them inthe street, in the shops, airports, hospitals, restaurants, etc, etc? Yes, they are everywhere.Well, the e. . .

Make Your Life Easier
Make Your Life Easier 'Have you read the Art of War?' someone asked me once. Fighting someone to get your way is definitely a valid strategy. But you don't need me to tell you about that one - we've all been arguing and manipulating to get our own way since we were born! And you may have noticed - often when you push, the other person pushes back! Wars have been fought, relationships lost, and many ulcers create with this kind of energy. This article is about the opposite approach - the art of fun surrender! Now many people who know me know I'm not usually the first person to use this approach! In fact I can often be a real control-freak. However, I've been noticing quite often lately how much fun it can be to surrender - and often you don't lose a thing!!! So, call this 'observations f. . .
Time to Risk More
Time to Risk More(Note to reader: As always, of course you need to be willing to take all consequences of your actions.)100 people aged 100 were asked: “What do you regret most? What would you do differently?”The majority answered: “I wish I had risked more”. We regret the things we don't do, far more than the things we do. Fear STOPS us living. We get a sense of security.... which can be upset at any moment anyway. Control is an illusion - we can't control events. So it’s a sad joke on us humans that the people who try hardest to live in their comfort zones get upset the most.Once we accept that we can’t control life, and that comfort is not very fulfilling, we are free to risk. What can happen? Rejection, moving into a smaller home, losing our partner, breaking an arm, losing a job we. . .
The Power of Vision
The Power of VisionYou've probably heard a lot about creating a vision, and possibly affirmations. Is it all new-age mumbo jumbo?I say no. If we really want to create something new in life, it simply makes sense to work out what that is, and then create a structure to constantly remind yourself. To keep it real. To keep you inspired, motivated.I'm happy to be able to share this great article from a client of mine which suggests how to do just that.....'EACH DAY DREAM A LITTLE DREAM.....even if it is only in your head it will soon be in your life. A while back I was focused on all that was lacking in my life. My focus each morning as I woke seemed to gravitate to all I didn't have and all I didn't want to have happen. I struggled and struggled until one day it hit me. I was separated from. . .
God Waits for You to Act First
It’s been said, “You can’t steer a parked car.” How would you ever get anywhere if your car is not running, let alone steer it? If you have a big dream that God has placed in your heart are you pursuing it? Are you in motion, or are you sitting idle? Maybe you’re waiting for God to do something. Some people would say that God can do anything. I disagree. God cannot do just anything. He has a nature and he will not act in a manner that is inconsistent with His nature. For example, God cannot lie. It’s against His nature to lie. It’s also against His nature to make you do something that you refuse to do. Like, accept His Son who died on the cross to save you from your sins. Jesus only saves you according to your belief and confession in Him (Romans 10:9,10). It’s your responsibility to e. . .
Finding Your Perfect Partner
Finding Your Perfect PartnerThe mistake is to go looking, before cleaning up your own "back yard". The mistake is to seek someone because you're so desperately lonely, and don't feel happy with your own company. You may find a partner using this approach, but it often won't last, and will rarely lead to fulfillment. There's nothing wrong with this approach, and this newsletter won't stop anyone doing it. BUT - here's the key to entering a great relationship: You want to be having such a great time that the perfect partner notices you and says "Hey - can I play too?".If you are already happy with your own company, and loving your life, then skip straight to PART II - the action section. If there are some things you're ready to handle in your own life - to prepare a more attractive space f. . .
How to Coach Yourself
How to Coach YourselfSome people are not in a position to work with a coach right now. Some are stretched financially, while some are still using the “lone ranger” method. Other people might be uncertain about trying something new.So here is a brief, simple process I often use with clients that you can apply to you own situation i.e. coach yourself! And at the end of the article I will mention how you can go even further than this using a professional coach.STEP 1) Clarify your goalSome of us are not moving forward simply because we have not set a goal that inspires us! Make it specific e.g. 20% increase in income by January 1. And you can stretch yourself, but keep it realistic. If you’re blocked, schedule creative time to play with ideas. Dream, cry, challenge. Ask someone. Create it!. . .

Copyright 2005 Emmanuel SeguiEmile Coué, the French psychotherapist once said: "When the imagination and will power are in conflict, are antagonistic, it is always the imagination which wins, without any exception." Then you can program yourself for success by understanding the power of imagination. Imagination builds cities. Imagination makes dreams come true. Imagination will drive a lot of people to success, and you are a part of it.We know that imagination and rationalization don't go each other so well. When you dream, the right hemisphere of the brain and your subconscious mind are working and usually, you feel peace, you see compelling pictures and you hear beautiful sounds. Success is within your reach. But the problem is that the left hemisphere of the brain is also working and. . .
The Power Of Charisma
You have seen them on television your entire life: the world leaders, the movie stars, and yes, even the infomercial darlings! These people almost seem incapable of self-doubt as their undeniable confidence exudes from their every pore, almost mesmerizing their audience. They are literally capable of convincing listeners to buy products they don’t really need, support causes without question, and follow when one would rather lead. What is their secret? How are they able to do what you or I could only dream of doing, and do it with such ease?A rare personal quality attributed to leaders who arouse fervent popular devotion and enthusiasm; a personal magnetism or charm. The Benefits of Coaching
Copyright 2005 Peggy PorterWhen I was first introduced to the profession of personal coaching, my first initial thought was that it sounded exactly like something I would love to pursue. I did further investigation into the profession and before I knew it I was happily enrolled in the Coach Training Program offered through Coach U University in Colorado, USA. The more coaches I met through this program and the more individuals I personally coached, the more benefits I saw from having a coach. Until recently however, I was not fully aware of the impact that having a personal coach can have in your life. When I hired my own coach, only then did I realize how quickly an individual can move forward towards their life goals. When I hired my coach back in July, writing a self help book for Mo. . .
Barriers to Self Care
Copyright 2005 Peggy PorterFor many women, the term self-care often becomes a foreign concept once motherhood occurs. Why? I believe there are several key reasons why mothers find it difficult to take better care of themselves: Time - One of the major barriers to self-care is the feeling that there’s just not enough time. Going from leisurely lunches with friends (before the days of motherhood), to sleepless nights, packed lunches and car pooling, is a huge adjustment. Often we are left feeling stretched for time. Multiple Role Players - In today’s society, moms play multiple roles - everything from career professional, soccer mom and committee volunteer, to chauffeur and housekeeper. How can we find time for ourselves while juggling all these roles?Guilt – Feelings of guilt play a huge. . .
Dancing With Our Shadow
"The outer forms of our lives can change in an instant, but the inner reorientation that brings us back into a vital relation to people and activity takes time. " ~ William Bridges Our dark side contains all the events, stories, and things we wanted to hide about ourselves, from ourselves. Many things hidden in the dark side are good things, postive things, that when we decided they were not so good we hid them. Perhaps you loved to draw like I did when I was a child and you traced things to color. One of your parents told you that was wrong so you stopped trying to draw, to use others ideas, and to use and enjoy color. So you hid it there in the dark. Or your Mother was always saying "Don't raise your hand to me young lady," You were really little so you got the idea you had power in y. . .
Forget Positive Thinking
There are always explanations for why things to you or others. Even though you might not understand why. Some of the time, when things happen that you do not wish for, you may be tempted to throw your arms in the and wish ...But me! I just say 'Great'. You know why?No, I am not one of the lucky few. I have learned a very life defining skill. And that is to maintain perspective. Of course you have heard about 'perspective'? Let us work on this together now, please.Perspective is one of those influencers that are instrumental in shaping your reality. It is not the only influencer, but it does play a pretty crucial role. You (and you alone) determine your perspective. Never mind what is happening out there. Have You Appreciated Someone Today?
I invested some time with Mother recently and drove her tothe hospital to visit with her sick sister-in-law, my aunt. While I was standing in the doorway, a nurse came by andintroduced herself as Ruth and said “hello” to us and said“hello” to my aunt. This put a smile on my aunt’s face. Thenurse then introduced me to the other nurses working at thenurses’ station. She let me know that these nurses are hardworking and good at their jobs.I couldn’t agree with her more. Theirs is a very difficult jobwith no margin for error. In many situations they know andunderstand the patients better than the doctors.Realizing this, and noticing that some of the nurses looked alittle tired, I asked Ruth to bring out all the nurses she hadintroduced me to at the nurses’ station. Thankfulness
Thankfulness When in 1996 a local Secondary School opened, the staff decided to create a tradition to prepare Christmas Hampers for those in need. Each advisory class (of around 18 students G9-12) would adopt a family to help out. The students only know how many members in the family, ages of the children, and whether they have any food allergies. Every year, 65 –70 hampers are delivered to families. Inside each hamper is a note from the school principal wishing the family a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy new year. It explains how the hamper was put together by the students and adds (I quote) “We hope that this hamper will bring you joy at this special time of year as it was put together with much love and care.” What would you think the experience of delivering a hamper would. . .
Manifesting Home Runs
Recently I was in Cleveland, Ohio, about two thousand miles from my home in southern California, visiting my brother and his family. My sister-in-law and I took my eight-year-old niece to her first baseball game, where we saw the Cleveland Indians host the Minnesota Twins. We had excellent seats behind home plate, and little Caitlin loved the music, the “wave,” and everything about her first ballpark experience. Of course, it was even better when she saw her home team defeat the visitors 2-1.I’m no baseball expert but I can say that this game wasn’t what you’d call an outstanding display of hitting. Few times did either team manage to get more than four batters up per inning. Both teams scored a run in the third inning, and it was the bottom of the eighth inning before we saw another sc. . .
Through Stress Comes Kindness
Through Stress Comes Kindness By Laura Johnson In these times when companies are constantly down-sizing and right-sizing there is always a lot of stress. The stress comes first from the rumors that it may happen, then the actual doomsday when it happens, and then the aftermath of finding out how the company is going to operate. But there is one other thing that happens through all of this too… Kindness!People start reaching out to people like never before. Feelings are displayed, discussed, and disseminated. There is concern and interest not only in the situation but in people’s lives in general. Suddenly you find out there are others that have been through this. You hear the stories of how they not only survived but came through it with greater gains of friends, opportunities and somet. . .
Change for Better...
A Change for the Better…Terry Dashner……………Faith Fellowship Church PO Box 1586 Broken Arrow, OK 74013It is said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, each time expecting a different outcome. You and I know that reality says otherwise. If you expect a different result, you must change your current actions. Change is necessary. It is human; however, it’s not always easy. Here are the basics: in order to change one’s behavior, one must change one’s thinking. And to change one’s thinking, one must change one’s input. You know—garbage in, garbage out. Or in this case, a man’s reality is measured in terms of what he perceives. In other words, think on good things and your behavior will follow. This is certainly a principle in Scripture. Think on these things…In the fifth ch. . .
